Mike Tyson has opened up about his fiery pre-fight press conferences during his time.The best fighter explained why he often crossed the line in the build-up to his fights and also gave an insight into the mood before fights.
Iron Mike’ is sure one of the most feared men in the sport’s history. We know him as the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet’. This reputation stemmed from his behavior before fights.
Speaking on an episode of ‘HotBoxin with Mike Tyson’, he said everything you see is real till after the fight. When talking about fighters crossing the line, the best boxer Mike sayd, “No, I was always crossing the line.”
After that he detailed an experience from a press conference and explained why he did what he used to. “I remember one time Larry Holmes put his hand out and I didn’t shake his hand. I was that kind of guy, I was really dark, because I was insecure”.

It is clear to see that ‘Iron Mike’ would go into the zone before a fight, and everything we saw was unadulterated emotion. His big insecurity was not a onetime occurrence. Although, the most importatnt occasion was against Lennox Lewis.
At the press conference, they kept the two of them at a distance in order to avoid any conflict. But Tyson approached Lewis and started a fight. After that, he even quarreled with the reporter.
We asked him why he did it, he explained, “I’m a heavy dude sometimes.” So this showed how seriously Iron Mike took his boxing. He has since calmed down and refrained from the incident.
Today, he is busy compiling his exhibition fights for the League of Legends only. Mike discovered the desired destination for the next fight and teased the next opponent as well. However, fans will not be able to witness the Iron Mike Tyson from ancient times.
