While the YouTuber turned boxer fancies his chances against McGregor, boxing legend Iron Mike isn’t buying it.
Speaking on Hotboxin, Paul said: “I called out Conor McGregor while the whole entire world was watching. He’s fighting a guy, Dustin Poirier, who’s 5’9″, 155 lbs, who he TKOed already in one round. He’s fighting him again. Why?”
“I don’t give a s**t if he’s afraid of me. You don’t have to be afraid of someone to get your ass beat.” ansvered Paul
“Sure.” said Mike and continued to smirk.
“There’s a $50 million offer, proof of funds waiting in a bank account for him.” continued Paul.
McGregor is yet to officially respond to the 25-year-old but he did allude to him as a “confused little kid” prior Saturday’s fight with Poirier.
“You know, that is what it is,” he told BT Sport.
“We’ll see what happens, he seems like a confused little kid to me, to be honest.
I don’t know what’ll happen, “He’s willing to get in there, it’s not on the radar at the minute with the young lad.
“I have a teammate [Dylan Moran] – him and Dylan have been back-and-forth, so you never know.”
That response came not long after Paul called out McGregor again, this time using an airplane and a banner.
Paul can be seen sitting on a beach in Miami while a small airplane flies above him carrying a banner which reads: “Conor McGregor is Scared of Jake Paul.” is seen In video posted on social media.
After McGregor’s defeat at UFC 257, Paul took to Instagram Live and ‘rescinded’ the $50 million offer.
“Conor, ay, ay, Conor – I got $10,000 for you cash, cash baby,” he joked.
“You had $50 million!”
