54th-years-old Iron Mike has wowed fans on social media with an incredible showcase of his quick head movement and hand speed.
I’ll have to stay in shape and i am eager to continue fighting in exhibitions, said Mike Tyson.
Tyson shows his skill and pays tribute to former trainer Cus D’Amato, in a video uploaded to Tik Tok.
“Cus helped me perfect the peek-a-boo boxing style. Shorter than most of my opponents, this style helps me close the difference.” He stated.
It’s the kind of skill that took Tyson to heavyweight championship glory at the tender age of 20.
Fans have reacted to the clip and they think the Iron Mike Tyson wouldn’t look out of place in today’s heavyweight scene.
One said: “He’s still faster than most of these Heavyweights. He’s make Anthony Joshua look like a big stiff robot for sure.”
While a second added: “It sounds dumb to say out loud but if the age 54 wasn’t attached to a lot of these Tyson videos people would legitimately see it as top level contender looking stuff.”
A third stated: Mike Tyson would f**k up 99.9 percent of the population still.”
While another simply put: “Once u got it u never lose it.”
“I say I’ll be better the next one” said Mike T. after the clash with Jones Jr.
“I could have done everything better. Everything I was doing, I could have done it better. God willing, I’ll be better the next exhibition.”
“This is where I belong,” the Brooklyn-native continued.
“I never once, even when my first day sparring and I got my rib cracked and a guy was just smashing my jaw, I never once said ‘what the hell am I doing here? Am I crazy?’ I just said I’m in the right place. I said I’m in the right place.”
